Historic Tax Incentive

For those commercial and residential properties designated historic that are not in the Tax Increment Finance District, it is possible to apply f or, and secure, an exemption of City property taxes for 10 years, if more than 30% of the value of the building is expended to rehabilitate the structure.  This program is administered the Historic Preservation Officer for the City of Fort Worth, telephone (817) 392-8000.
