How to make the most out of your ArtsGoggle evening? Our fall ArtsGoggle program is available to help you make a plan. ArtsGoggle is Saturday, October 13th, 4-10pm, with over 70 venues, hundreds of artists, and dozens of musicians and amazing bands scattered across the Near Southside. Our program lays it all out for you with detailed listings of venues, artists and bands.
Don’t miss the block parties along newly reconstructed Park Place Avenue and along Daggett Street in South Main Village. Magnolia Avenue will be full of activity as always, with dozens of venues, including some new additions that you won’t want to miss. It will be convenient and safe to get around without driving, with shuttle service provided by The T running 5-10pm. And if you want to raise the fun a notch, take advantage of the Near Southside’s bike route network and enjoy an easy ride with friends while rolling from venue to venue.
Download the program in pdf format (set up for double-sided printing), or pick up a copy at one of the ArtsGoggle venues the evening of the event. Thanks to Stephanie Buchanan for her assistance in putting the program together!
The program is now available for FWSI’s 2013 Spring ArtsGoggle, set for Saturday, May 18, 4-10 pm. We’re proud to have 69 participating venues for the Near Southside’s grassroots gallery crawl, as well as over 150 artists and dozens of bands and musicians. You’ll be able see everything if you get started early, and make sure to visit the various clusters of venues and music scattered across the district and easily accessible via Molly the Trolley and Fort Worth Bike Sharing. Magnolia Ave, Park Place Village, Jennings, and South Main Village once again feature a wide range of art, music, and food, and the new group of venues around the 8th Ave/Pennsylvania intersection promises to be a popular stop as well.

Fort Worth South, Inc.(FWSI) welcomes you to our freshly rebuilt and relaunched website. We’ve worked with the excellent web design team at Creative Magma, Inc. to fully update our site and make it easier and more enjoyable to find all the information you need about Fort Worth’s Near Southside and FWSI.
The website has two goals: 1) Provide an overview of the Near Southside with detailed information about the district’s destinations, events, and future attractions; and 2) Provide information about Fort Worth South, Inc. — the non-profit working to revitalize the district — and the FWSI members that make all of our work possible.
We love our membership businesses in the area for all the do! Sometimes they get a little creative in their free time. Everybody needs a little bit of fun though right? In this latest act of creativity, one of our local advertising agencies, Creative Magma, took over a parking spot in front of their office and built a little beach. The weather that week was nothing short of blistering hot and soaking up the rays sounds just about spot on!
