The Fort Worth South, Inc. Annual Banquet is the organization’s showcase event and primary fundraiser. It’s always a good time and a great way to catch up on progress in the district. As a bonus, the banquet also includes a popular silent auction of special items from Near Southside businesses.
The event has grown significantly over the last several years as interest in the district continues to increase. The banquet is held at the TCU Brown-Lupton Center Ballroom.
The annual banquet offers opportunities to purchase table sponsorships at various levels, and individual tickets are available as well. The banquet always features an exciting slideshow as well as the presentation of our signature Kline-Watts and MVP awards.
The Kline-Watts Award is named in honor of Joan Kline and the late Dr. James M. Watts, in appreciation for their long-standing support to the Near Southside community. The award is presented for outstanding contributions to the area. In appreciation for outstanding dedication to the Near Southside and generous assistance to Fort Worth South, Inc., we present the MVP Award.
