Fort Worth South, Inc., The Cowtown Marathon and Albertsons will host a Fit 15 Celebration featuring Mayor Betsy Price and former members of the Dallas Cowboys at Magnolia Green Park in Fort Worth’s Near Southside.
Fit 15 is designed to rally employers and employees to promote and support at least fifteen minutes of physical activity a day. The event will be held at 11:00 am, during the lunch hour, so that local employees are able to participate. Employees for Near Southside business will be led by their business leadership and Mayor Betsy Price for a 15-20 minute walk either preceded by a presentation by the Mayor with a brief q&a session.

— Cowtown Marathon will host children’s activities and share information about upcoming events
— Camp Gladiator Fitness will host a 15-minute fitness camp
— Sports Rehab Specialists will share information about health & wellness
— Path to Wellness Chiropractic will be offering free spinal screenings
— Fort Worth Bike Sharing will host a 15-minute ride with special annual membership opportunities
— UTA Fort Worth Center will host “The Art of Yoga” – two 15 minute sessions
— Keep Fort Worth Funky and musician Joshua Irwin will host an acoustic performance
— Academy 4, a 4th grade mentorship program teaching leadership, will join the event with more than 100 4th grade students from Daggett Elementary School to join the Mayor for 15 minutes of walking!
— Trimble Tech High School Marching Band will keep us all “in step”
— Luke’s Locker will be handing out FREE FitWorth T-shirts
— Turkey Trot will be present to share information about their upcoming event
— Tarrant County Public Health
— FitWorth will have free Frisbees and information regarding wellness activities
— La Madeline is providing a healthy snack and strawberries Romanoff for all present
