Beginning with the successful Magnolia Street Festival in 1998, FWSI has partnered with Near Southside businesses, musicians, and artists to sponsor exciting community events that have drawn thousands to the district.

Our signature event is ArtsGoggle, a grassroots gallery crawl held twice a year since 2004.

It has grown into a popular Saturday night event, held every spring and fall.

Building on the success of ArtsGoggle, FWSI also puts on a new series of music events called "First Friday on the Green" that take place at Magnolia Green Park.  The park is a perfect location for outdoor gatherings.
