Open Streets Partnership Opportunities
October's Open Streets events offer the opportunity for community-minded businesses and institutions to gain publicity through their support of an exciting, first-of-its-kind event. All partners will receive publicity and benefits for both the October 23rd and October 30th events. All partner levels will be publicized by category in an informational flyer distributed the day of the events. Partner levels 1-5 will receive additional benefits:
o Publicity in all ads, event cards, online notices, and other marketing materials
o Space for a table or booth at the event
o Level-specific benefits detailed below
PARTNER LEVELS
1. Presenting Partners - $5,000 (2 available)
Additional benefits: Ten banners with "Open Streets presented by (Your Name and prominent logo)" located along the routes. Also, all publicity materials in advance of the event will clearly state this same message.
2. Road Rulers - $2,000 (3 available)
Additional benefit: Sponsorship of a route segment marked by two banners (one at each end of the segment) with "(Street name) brought to you by (Your Name and prominent logo)"
3. Sprinters - $1,000 (5 available)
Additional benefit: Prominent logo placement on six event guidelines banners dispersed along the routes
4. Pacers - $500 (5 available)
5. Food Vendors - $200 participation fee (covers both events; no alcohol allowed)
6. Community Partners - $100 or any amount
VOLUNTEERS AND ACTIVITY PROVIDERS
We're looking for up to 50 volunteers for each event to monitor intersections and provide general information to participants. Volunteers will receive a free volunteer T-shirt!
Another opportunity to participate is by coordinating a roadside activity that adds fun and interest to Open Streets. Activities must be consistent with the wellness and community-building goals of the event. Examples could include fitness and yoga classes, kids activities, or other game areas. There are plenty of opportunities to get creative. Activity providers will be able to publicize your business or organization at no charge!
