Mayor Mike Moncrief joined Dr. Kishore Sunkara, Dr. Puskoor Kumar, Dr. Raju Indukuri, and Administrator Wayne Hallford in breaking ground in October 2007 for this new 38,000 sf, 48-bed hospital at the corner of W. Rosedale and Grainger Streets.
The psychiatric hospital fills a pressing regional need and fits in well with other Near Southside buildings. Sundance Behavioral Health Care worked in close collaboration with FWSI and referenced the proposed Near Southside development standards during the design process.
