Increment Projections

TIF #4 is capped at $60 million; i.e., once the TIF collects $60 million in total revenue, property taxes from the district will no longer be reserved for use within the TIF boundary and will subsequently be deposited in the general revenue funds of all participating taxing jurisdictions.

In order to forecast future TIF revenues and plan appropriately for expenditures, FWSI maintains a spreadsheet of collected and projected increment revenues. The projections are based on conservative estimates for annual property value increases. The current projection forecasts 2016 as the final year for TIF #4.
